Students must submit
documentary evidence of being enrolled at an educational institution in the year
2008/9.
IASPEI 2009 delegate fees include:
- Delegate bag and name tag;
- Access to Scientific sessions and exhibitions, general assembly documents
and publications;
- Coffee/tea breaks;
- Opening and closing ceremonies;
- Icebreaker cocktail;
- South African wine and brandy tastings at the CTICC;
- Transportation from selected hotels to the general assembly venue.
Field trips and selected short courses will have separate fees.
Lunch tickets will be available at a discounted rate.

- Opening and closing ceremonies;
- Icebreaker cocktail;

- One stand, one table, two chairs, power points, spot lights, registration
for two representatives. Additional representatives should register separately.

- Transportation from selected hotels to the general assembly venue.

METHODS
OF PAYMENT
Payment of fees must accompany all registrations. No
registration will be confirmed until payment is received. Payment should be
made in US dollars and in advance by:
- Holder of American Express, Diners Club, Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard/Access
may use their credit cards for charging all the costs. Your card number and
expiry date must be filled in on the registration form.

Bank payments should be free of
any bank charges to the conference.
You must submit the registration
forms online. You are free to pay by credit card or bank transfer.
All
participants will receive an email confirmation / receipt of registration
acceptance.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations
of registrations should be notified in writing to the IASPEI local organising
committee Secretariat. Cancellations received by 30 September 2008 will receive
a 100% refund, less a USD20 administrative charge.
Cancellations
received from 1 November 2008 to 10 December 2008 will receive a 50% refund.
There will be no refunds for cancellations received after 10 December 2008.
In the case of partial reduction of room nights received after 1
December 2008 the hotel will decide if a penalty will be applied. In the event
of a no-show, hotel reservations will be cancelled after one night. No-shows
cannot be refunded. Refunds will be made using the same method chosen for the
payment (i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card).
Disclaimer
All reasonable endeavours will be made to hold
the IASPEI 2009 General Assembly and to present the printed programme as
scheduled under circumstances which assure the comfort and safety of the general
assembly participants. However, neither the IASPEI 2009 local organising
committee nor any of its Branches, nor their officers, employees,
representatives or agents, shall have any liability to any person as a result of
any cancellation of the general assembly or any of the arrangements, programmes
or plans connected therewith or any loss, injury, damage or inconvenience which
may be suffered by any person while travelling to or from, or during such
person's presence in, South Africa in connection with the general assembly.
Participants are advised to consider procuring their own insurance against any
such occurrences.
