Students must submit documentary evidence of being enrolled at an educational institution in the year 2008/9.

IASPEI 2009 delegate fees include:
  • Delegate bag and name tag;
  • Access to Scientific sessions and exhibitions, general assembly documents and publications;
  • Coffee/tea breaks;
  • Opening and closing ceremonies;
  • Icebreaker cocktail;
  • South African wine and brandy tastings at the CTICC;
  • Transportation from selected hotels to the general assembly venue.
Field trips and selected short courses will have separate fees.

Lunch tickets will be available at a discounted rate.

Spouse fees include:
  • Delegate bag and name tag;
  • Coffee/tea breaks;
  • Opening and closing ceremonies;
  • Icebreaker cocktail;
  • South African wine and brandy tastings at the CTICC;
  • Transportation from selected hotels to the general assembly venue.
  • Participation within the daily "Spouse's programme"
Field trips and selected short courses will have separate fees.

Exhibitors fees include:
  • Delegate bag and name tag;
  • One stand, one table, two chairs, power points, spot lights, registration for two representatives. Additional representatives should register separately.
  • Coffee/tea breaks;
  • Opening and closing ceremonies;
  • Icebreaker cocktail;
  • South African wine and brandy tastings at the CTICC;
  • Transportation from selected hotels to the general assembly venue.
Field trips and selected short courses will have separate fees.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

Payment of fees must accompany all registrations. No registration will be confirmed until payment is received. Payment should be made in US dollars and in advance by:

Bank payments should be free of any bank charges to the conference.

You must submit the registration forms online. You are free to pay by bank transfer.

All participants will receive an email confirmation / receipt of registration acceptance.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
  1. If a registrant is unable to attend the conference, the IASPEI local Organising Committee Secretariat should be notified in writing.
  2. All cancellations will be accompanied by a $30 administrative charge which will be deducted from the refund or collected form the Registrant.
  3. Refunds will be made as follows:
    1. Registration cancellations received on or before the 30th September 2008 will receive a 100% refund;
    2. Registration cancellations received from 1 October to 1 December 2008 will receive a 50% refund;
    3. Registration cancellations received after 1 December 2008 will NOT receive a refund.
    4. Refunds will not be made for no-shows.
    5. IASPEI is not responsible for South African Postal Service mail or electronic mail failures.
    6. Refund will be made in the same method as payment was made. i.e. Bank transfers will be refunded to the same bank account or credited card payments will be reversed to the same credit card. Transaction fees will be charged to the recipient.
  4. If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute, by arrangement with the registrar, someone else from the same institute/organisation, however, such a substitution will be or the registrant's own cost.
  5. Hotel Accommodation
    1. Cancellation/ partial reduction of accommodation/room nights received after the 1st of December 2008 may be subject to a penalty to be applied by the Hotel. This penalty will be at the Hotel's sole discretion, their decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decision to refund the accommodation costs.
    2. In the event of a no-show, the Hotel accommodation will be cancelled after one night.

All reasonable endeavours will be made to hold the IASPEI 2009 General Assembly and to present the printed programme as scheduled under circumstances which assure the comfort and safety of the general assembly participants. Participants are advised to consider procuring their own insurance against any such occurrences. Views and opinions expressed by speakers at the General Assembly are those of the speakers themselves unless they act in a duly authorised capacity to represent IASPEI.
